IIICONIC
BIOGRAPHY
Originating from Ghana in West Africa comes Brisbane-based teen-rapper IIICONIC, who has made serious waves across the country off the back of his exciting and eclectic new-wave sound.
The 19-year-old is coming off the back of a huge 18-months which included releasing a handful of eclectic new singles, supporting beloved Aussie stars Thundamentals on the Brisbane leg of their national tour and performing at 2017’s Sprung Hip-Hop Festival as the youngest and freshest act on the bill.
Those handful of new singles gained immense traction online, racking up hundreds of thousands of streams and finding IIICONIC charting at number 31 in ‘Australia’s Viral 50’ playlist on Spotify with his lively single ‘Plans.’
In addition to hitting the viral charts, IIICONIC appeared in Spotify’s ‘New Music Friday,’ ‘A1 Hip-Hop’ and ‘All Aussie Hip Hop’ playlists, as well as Apple Music’s ‘Best Of The Week,’ ‘The A-List: Hip-Hop,’ ‘New Fire’ and ‘Breaking Hip-Hop’ playlists.
With an already adoring, tight-knit fan base, IIICONIC recently brought his high-octane live show on the road, as he set off on his debut headline east-coast tour that stretched across five dates from Brisbane to Melbourne.
IIICONIC’s attitude, sound and energy is as exciting as it is refreshing, and with the rapid growth of the Australian Hip-Hop scene, the hungry young emcee’s next move is to dominate the new wave before flaunting his music on a global scale.
